Rome in Nero’s Time; the city is in a state of emergency. The generals of the Praetorian Guard, Nero’s closest allies, are refusing to serve him and there are also fierce arguments in senate over loyalty to the Caesar.
The Senate and the Guard are embroiled in fierce arguments, the people are divided.
